These White Papers provide additional information about the Advanced Authoring Format.

• The AAF FAQ provides answers to all sorts of questions about the AAF Association and the Advanced Authoring Format. You can also download it in MS Word format.
• "AAF - An industry-driven open standard for multimedia authoring". This document provides a very thorough discussion of the Advanced Authoring Format. It is in .pdf format. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Viewer, you can get it free from www.adobe.com.

• Ingest & Metadata - A presentation on metadata issues given at the 2000 SMPTE Pasadena Winter Conference. Includes a discussion of many SMPTE concepts including KLV, Registries, AAF, MXF, and GXF.
