The AAF Association (AAFA) will hold its next series of engineering meetings in Kingswood Warren (southeast of London) in the United Kingdom, 3-5 August 2004. Thanks to BBC Research & Development, the meetings will be hosted at their facility, and they will provide daily food and beverages during the meetings.
AAFA meetings will follow an EBU design review meeting on subtitles in AAF/MXF, which will be held on Monday, 2 August, at BBC R&D.;
An optional social event is planned for Wednesday evening, 4 August, offering a tour of Denbies Winery, the largest in south England. The event will require advance registration and payment of £55.00 (US$100), which includes a tour of the vineyard, wine-tasting session, a 3-course dinner and transportation.
Guest rooms have been reserved at the Coulsdon Manor Hotel, approximately 30 minutes' drive from Kingswood Warren, at a special discounted room rate of £99.00 (US$180) B&B;, inclusive of VAT.

Upon arrival, please report to the main reception, where you'll be directed to the meeting rooms. BBC Research & Development, Kingswood Warren, is just off the A217 about 4 miles north of Reigate and 3 miles north of Junction 8 of the M25 motorway. Public transport to Kingswood Warren is limited, and car hire or travel by taxi is therefore recommended. Please note however that taxis can be expensive. BBC R&D; is approximately 20-30 minutes' drive from London or Gatwick Airport, and 60-90 minutes from London Heathrow. Choosing a Gatwick flight is therefore recommended. BBC R&D; is located about 25-30 minutes from Coulsdon Manor Hotel.

Reservations are guaranteed with one night's room deposit and cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid forfeiting the deposit.
