Attend AAF Association's first Developers Conference in beautiful New Mexico this fall. The conference program will offer sessions on marketing and promoting AAF, general AAF specification theory, practical "hands on" exercises with the AAF Software Developers Kit, and using AAF technology in Post and Broadcast operations. Specific session details can be found in the conference agenda.

Whether you're a development engineer, product designer or user, this conference offers in-depth knowledge and serious thinking time in the beautiful mountains of sunny New Mexico. It's a great place to meet other manufacturers, post houses, and broadcast members, and work directly with the AAF design teams.

Santa Fe is a prime destination any time of the year, and Conde Nast Traveler magazine consistently rates it among the top three tourist destinations in the U.S. You'll find culture, history, a beautiful mountain setting, world-class museums, great shopping, and fine southwestern cuisine. Located at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the Rocky Mountain range, Santa Fe enjoys 300 sunny days a year and spectacular sunsets.

The AAF Member registration fee of $500 includes all educational sessions and materials, lunches, reception, off-site tour, and group dinner. Use the Registration Form to register online. Non-members are invited to attend the conference, too. Bring your significant other who should consider the optional Partner Program that offers unique activities to make the most of his or her time in Santa Fe.

Hotel LorettoAll conference registrants are invited to experience a little bit of the Santa Fe area. On Tuesday afternoon, chartered transportation will depart at 2:00 p.m. for a short drive to the Shidoni Bronze Sculpture Foundry and Gardens. One of the most technologically advanced foundries, Shidoni features acres of sculptures created from every imaginable combination of metals. A gallery displays contemporary works in all media by local artists. Knowledgeable guides will explain the casting process…and a special "pour" will be arranged for our viewing pleasure. The group will return to Santa Fe for a Southwestern dinner at one of Santa Fe's most popular restaurants, the Blue Corn Café. All costs for this excursion and dinner are included in your registration fee.
