Ground Travel
The Battle Green Inn is located about 15-18 miles from Boston Logan International Airport. Several options of ground transportation are available for transferring to and from the Airport.
- Rental Car – The main auto rental agencies offer service. A car may be convenient, but is unnecessary while in Lexington, since the hotel is located in a convenient walking district.
- Taxi – The airport is served by many taxi companies and the fare should be $37 - $42.
- Subway – It is possible to take the subway, transfer to a bus and get to the hotel in Lexington. If you’re adventurous and energetic, take the Blue Line Subway, transfer to the Red Line and ride it to the end – Alewise Station. The subway exit is across from a bus terminal, where you can catch Bus # 62 or #76, both of which offer service to Massachusetts Avenue, and the hotel. The fares are $1.25 for the subway and less than $1 for the bus.
