Post Impressions adds to industry support of The AAF Association

(July 18, 2024) Post Impressions has become a General Member of the AAF Association, a collaborative body that promotes the development and adoption of the Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) technology throughout the media industry.

The AAF multi-media file format enables content creators to easily exchange digital media and metadata between platforms, systems and applications, thus simplifying project management, saving time and preserving metadata.

"We are in the business of developing products for post production across a broad range of formats and resolutions that are designed to be easily integrated. We are therefore keen to support an industry organisation that promotes the interchange of digital media across platforms," says Post Impressions managing director Graham Sharp.
